About Cary Swim Club

 

Conveniently located at Tanglewood Drive and Walnut Street (across from Dairy Queen) the Cary Swim Club features an 8-lane pool, a separate baby pool with shade area, a spacious deck and recreation area with amenities to please all the members of your family, young and old.

Open from late May until early September the usual operating hours are 10:30am to 9pm. Cary Swim Club was established over 40 years ago. The pool and facilities were rebuilt in 1987 and include two tennis courts, sand volleyball court, a spacious play field and an ample paved parking lot.

Cary Swim Club is a member-owned, not-for-profit organization. With about 325 member families, we offer a friendly, family focused atmosphere.

 

Facilities

  •  8 lane 25 yard main pool.

  • Shallow area 2-3 feet deep. Full width step entrance (or comfortable seating).

  • Diving area 10 feet deep with one-meter springboard.

  • Round wading pool for toddlers, fully fenced with shade area.

  • Poolside shelters with picnic tables

  • Volleyball, basketball, ping-pong, TENNIS

  • Gas grills for member use

  • Club house with changing rooms and hot showers

  • Concessions of drinks and snacks

 

 

 

 

Activities In addition to the traditional holiday picnics, movie nights and late-night swims, this year we've added a Welcome Back Breakfast! Stay up-to-date on Club Activities throughout the season.

Rules and Regs Float days return on Mondays beginning May 28th--bring your float and cruise the pool in style. Floats are not allowed on other days; and use of some water toys may be restricted. Find out more DOs and DON'Ts on the Rules and Regs page.

Cary City Meet It's official! The Cary City Invitational returns to Cary Swim Club this summer. Hundreds and hundreds of swimmers from the Cary, Apex and Holly Springs areas will compete in this day-long swimming extravaganza! Find out more--including how you can help--on the Cary City Meet page.
